[Veritas-bu] drive test utility?

If you're talking Unix, you could mount it with robtest and use mt(1) to do
the "normal" things...e.g.,
mt -f /dev/rmt/0cbn rew
mt -f /dev/rmt/0cbn status
(You mean this isn't a question in the Taos sysadmin trivia game!? Oh wait,
they've changed it to a Flash-based SimCityesque thing...;)

Subject: [Veritas-bu] drive test utility?
Is there a utility within the media manager that will excercise a single
tape drive with blank media inside?
I don't want to run robtest and lock out the robotics, I just want to
have something do "normal" things to the drive like rewind, write,
rewind, forward, and read. Is one inside NB somewhere?
Thanks!
