"These are created when OTM starts (called by the nb client); when OTM stops
gracefully, these files are deleted. If OTM dies or the box has some other
failure, like a BSOD, in the middle of a backup, the OTM files don't get
deleted. They are safe to delete, as long as there isn't a backup job
running on the client."
If logging is turned on, the bpbkar log file will show the entry:
OTM Cache File: C:\WINNT\OTM3F4.tmp

Subject: [Veritas-bu] What are OTMnnnn.tmp files doing on a Win NT client in
C:\WINNT ???
Hello all,
On my Window NT 3.2 client, there is an accumulation of tmp files in the C:
\WINNT area. These tmp files are large and look like this; OTM296.tmp,
OTM2CFB.tmp, OTM32C9.tmp ... OTMC.tmp. There are appoximately twenty of
these. Does
anybody know if all or just some of them can be deleted?
