[Veritas-bu] Current tape in drive

vmoprcmd is the only command that queries the database needed to get this
information regarding the standalone drive from NetBackup.
Any reason why you wouldn't want to use it?

Subject: [Veritas-bu] Current tape in drive
Does anyone have an example of a script that goes out and checks the current
tape loaded in a standalone drive on a NT/2000 box? Basically what I want to
do
is run a script everyday after our remote contacts change the tape and make
sure
the correct tape is in the drive. My problem is getting the tape that is
currently loaded in the drive. VMOPRCMD does this, but it would be nice if I
could get this information from somewhere else. Any ideas?
Thanks,
me
