vmquery -a (to get a list of all tapes)
for each tape
tpreq (this mounts the tape)
wait a few seconds
vmoprcmd -d ds (the sixth and seventh fields have the RVSN and EVSN)
tpunmount
compare them and eject the ones that are wrong.
or wait until NBU freezes the tape because it can't match the labels.

Subject: [Veritas-bu] Validate Internal Barcodes?
I had to have all of our barcodes switched from one type to another over the
last week and now I am sure they have mislabelled a few of my tapes. How
can I do a comparison between the internal barcode and external to find
which ones were mislabelled and then correct the problem. We are talking
about 800 tapes so I am trying to find an automated way.
Thank you for your help!
