If anyone wants to give a crack at this in Perl, the NBUX bpdbjobs() 
function already returns
the fully-parsed information in an hash (associative array for you awk 
folks.)  The job start time,
end time, and everything else from the -all_columns output is all 
accessible through hash keys.*

I might even try doing this, except that I'm slightly occupied with other 
things at present.
