Hello.

What about a quicker import of tapes if several are being moved from one 
site for restore at another?  (A site with a different NetBackup server 
coinfig.)  Would it be possible to just backup part of the NBU 
catalog(images, media?) import and restore the db at the new location, and 
then just place the tapes in the library without importing them?

This doesn't answer your question, but I think we're looking for the same 
answer.
