my backups scripts are running via cron jobs and when ever system initates 
tham it get core dump with error 'ts=139' and all cron jobs fails.

i contacted SUN, they don't have ready solutions for it also.


any susgetions please

Thanks for the info on the first part - I have this upgrade planned for my
server sometime "soon".

As to the cron job, NB has no native cron jobs so we're going to need more
info on this.

it imp to note that the recent update from solaris 8 of march 19 can create
lot of problem for netbackup. my sys admin did the upgrade without telling
me and i had to spent weekend resolving the following problems.

1. it updates and changes the st.conf file on the server, which will come
into effect after reboot only and effect all the tape drives
----i was able to restore original files


2. it creates problem with cron job, which do core dump with 'ts=139'

--not yet resolved, any suggetions is welcome.
