I have a *default* installation of
* M$ windows 2000 sp2
* M$ sql server 2000
* Netbackup client/agent/DSN (a successful one) for SQL Server
* My DSN is of course double checked, removed, reconfig'd at leaset 7
times to be sure...
I can backup up in any way at any time but .... If I stop SQL server and
remove one of the datafiles, eg. NorthWnd.mdf and restart SQL server I am
not able to even start a restore. This is excactly why I bought a backup
system
Does anybody have a clue in how/What magic stuff to perform to do to get
this working?
(buy BackupExec)
regards,
Bengt
