I'm running Netbackup 3.4 on Solaris Master server running standard backups
using multistreaming.

I've heard about a work around called the "parent class method" for
bpstart_notify/bpend_notify execution problems when you turn on
multistreaming but I can't find any documentation on the Veritas-bu
archives. The work around supposedly uses a parent class to call another
class which keeps the bpstart_notify/bpend_notify scripts on the client from
being executed by each new stream. Can someone point me in the right
direction.

I've heard this work around is much better than scripting a bunch of messy
logic in your bpstart/bpend_notify scripts.
