I have been getting mails from folks saying, the media server should =

My Answer is : Yes , you have to have the proper License to install a
Media server. I don't think the installation will go forward with out
punching in the proper license keys. My point is, the issue I described =
was
not related to licensing, as I installed proper license keys when I
installed this media server. For this issue, even if I buy 1000 =
separate
licenses, it's not going to work unless I have the same patch level on =
both
the master and media server.=20

unit on the master server. I got error codes 219 and 213 when I tried =

a test backup. SUN customer support says this is a Licensing issue as =

media server needs separate Licenses.=20
I am sure many of you must be using the same kinda configuration at =

site . What do you guy's say ?=20
