Sane advice...

Don't run both daemons at the same time.  Installing one package while one
is inactive and the other is active *may* not 'cause too many problems.

I think the better question is:  Why wouldn't this cause problems?
You are probably in for a world of hurt by attempting this but then again I
could be wrong...

Hi,
        I have a question. I am trying to do some tests using Legato
Networker
6.1.1 and Veritas Netbackup 3.4. I have installed both on one machine and am
planning to use same storage and media drives for both. I just wanted to
know in Advance, does having networker and netbackup on same machine creates
any problem.....also they are using same devices. Please let me know if
anyone has tried this thing and got into some problems....
