Has anyone ever encountered this error?

"Jan 20 16:14:22 xxxxx tldd[29812]: TLD(0) going to
DOWN state, status: Control daemon connect or protocol
error"

Our media server began reporting this error.  All our
drives on out robot continuously goes from an UP to a
DOWN state.  This just all of a sudden happened one
day and I'm at my ends to solve this problem.  Any
help would be welcomed...Thanks.
