Hello, 

We are getting increasing numbers of failures on 
our DLT tape drives and I am trying to find the problem. 
With STK's SE we opened some of our tape drives 
and head and leader are dirty and dusty on all of them.
I know for sure
that cleaning tape doesn't do actually cleanings
and can do nothing with the leader itself. 

Does it mean we need to open tape drives and clean 
them manually every 6 month?????
