Thanks Andrew.

They are DLT7000 drives.

That's my next set of tests to determine if in fact I have a hardware issue.
I think they are on the same scsi chain, but that too will be confirmed this
morning.

you can put blank tape with DGXXXX(?) barcode into L700's internal
slots, they are right under second CAP, and use
commands from library menu, mount/unmount test should be helpfull,
if library fails to mount/unmount diag tape then you have problem with
hardware.
But.. two tape drives at the same time with the same problem.. I don't think
so.
What kind of tape drives you've got? Are they on the same SCSI chain?

I've got a lot of problems with the STK/CrossRoads bridges.
That was old STK3200 or 4200 CrossRoads I believe.
My bridges was logging to fabric with different topology every time.
Be sure you've got the latest firmware.

The latest firmware level for DLT tape drives is 106.
I do beleive you need to have 34_2 to run it.

The latest firmware I heard from STK for L700 is 2.30, it could be
newer.

Thanks,
Andrew
