check the bp.conf file and make  sure you don't have
DISALLOW_SERVER_FILE_WRITES in your bp.conf file (or if its NT in your
registry.

-dstunit backup1-dlt-robot-tld-0 -class NYRA_ORA -sl Full  -L
./duplicate_log.1119.1235 -s 11/14/2001 -e 11/14/2001 &

I've used both -v and -L: the log file is empty.
