Just wondering if any one else  in the list runs firmware version 106
successfully on DLT7000 ?

We had a short discussion on that 2 days ago on this list. Look under
the subject "Media errors (status 83)".

In short - it seems that microcode 106 causes problems with the data
tapes, while it saves on the cleaning tapes. Obviously it is better to
waste some cleaning tapes (stay with the old microcode).

The subject is still checked with STK.
