Andreas,
try using c:\nul (with one 'l') as the destination. Files copied there
under NT and 2000 go into the vapors. I haven't tried it with NBU (all my
servers are UNIX), but it works with "copy" and the like....

Subject: [Veritas-bu] backup to /dev/null
Hello list
Is there a way to do a backup to something like '/dev/null' on
windows-systems, to find out how fast netbackup can pull data from a
disk?
On unix I would issue the command 'bpbkar .../filesystem >/dev/null' to
get an idea on how fast backup could be on a given system.
Thanks a lot
