I've had no problem with the following:

1) MAKE A DATABASE BACKUP; MAKE ANOTHER JUST IN CASE :-)
2) stop netbackup
3) mkdir /<new_area>
4) cd /usr; tar cvf - openv |(cd /<new_area>; tar xvf -)
5) rm -r /usr/openv
6) ln -s /<new_area> /usr/openv
7) start netbackup
8) test your netbackup environment

I'm looking for some information on the best way to move the Netbackup
catalogs to another partition (one with more space). I found the information
using ALTPATH but I hoping for a cleaner way. Anyone done this?
