Ouch, that's big. Had you ever thought of chunking up your master server into
two masters? It really doesn't entail that much extra administration as long as
you keep scripts, OS versions, NBU patch levels, and procedures consistent
across the two. That's what we are doing now.

Our NetBackup database file system is over 100GB. Is their a faster way of
running database backup? WE can only run it once a week because we always have
backups running. When we do the database backup it takes about 8 to 9 hours to
complete after it does all the deletions of images etc.. WE are using NBU 3.4
running on Solaris 2.8.
