Hello,
I have a fast growning list of FROZEN media in one of my robots,
on one of media servers to be correct.
There is no read/write/positiong errors in db/media/errors.
Before became unusable tapes HAD USED for backups and HAD
6-80 GB of data on them, i.e. was active.
When I tryed to read contents from frozen tape Netbackup
reported:
No report available.
cannot read media header, may not be NetBackup media or is corrupted
I tryed to track if there is a bad tape drive, and couldn't
do it. All frozen tapes were used in different tape drives.
After bplabel'ing the frozen tape it can be used again.
bptm log file contains:
log.091601:16:31:06 [3553] <2> write_backup: media id 003615 mounted on drive
index 3, drivepath /dev/rmt/5cbn, drivename uback-ap9-1_4
log.091601:16:31:08 [3553] <16> io_read_media_header: block read is not a
NetBackup media header, len = 1024, media id 003615, drive index 3, data is
unknown
log.091601:16:31:08 [3553] <16> write_backup: non NetBackup media found in
drive index 3, FREEZING 003615
Anyone seen this before? Any ideas?
