hello!
Due to some reasons (no use mentioning the reasons now), we hade to
increase the buffer size a month ago.=20
when we are trying to reuse our tapes that used the old buffer size, the
tape is frozen and not usable. I get the following excerpts from the
bptm log:
10:23:24 [25072] <2> io_open: file
/usr/openv/netbackup/db/media/tpreq/000006 successfully opened
10:23:24 [25072] <2> write_backup: media id 000006
mounted on drive index 0, drivepath /dev/rmt/0cbn, drivename
SEAGATEULTRIUM06242-XXX0
10:23:24 [25072] <2> io_read_media_header: drive index
0, reading media header, buflen =3D 32768, buff =3D 0x422b80
10:23:24 [25072] <2> io_ioctl: command (5)MTREW 1 from
(bptm.c.4951) on drive index 0
10:23:24 [25072] <2> io_read_media_header: block read is
not a NetBackup media header, len =3D 512, media id 000006, drive index =
0,
data is ANSI-format
10:23:24 [25072] <8> write_backup: FREEZING media id
000006, it contains ANSI-format data and cannot be used for backups
how do I solve it the easiest way, without getting inconsistency
problems in netbackup?
/jonas
