Is anyone out there having problems with the db backup taking 2 to 3 times
as long to backup as it once did?
The master server is a SUN E450 and the media servers are an E5000,E5500
and a HP N4000.  I have tried backing up to all 3 media servers and get
similar results.  More disturbing is that when I tried backing up to a
local disk on the master it too ran slow.  The bpbkar process on the master
is often found in a sleep state. Occasionally(once or twice a week)  I get
a db backup that runs close to expectations,around 4 hours.  THANKS!!!
