After confirming the device config...

Is this Solaris 2.6? Make sure you installed 105847-09(or latest) for st
kernel drivers related to amoung other things SCSI reserve-release.

Hi David

Try to check if the device-files on the other media servers point to same
drive
as the corresponding device-files on the master,

if you are using the same configuration on all the machines.

Regards
Michael

Okay, this isn't brain surgery, I installed SSO
configured the drives and host, etc.

When I test a backup, the job just stays queued.

Any ideas?

It works fine from the master (scan_host), but not from
the other media server. In fact the other media
server's device manager was failing to start. I was
able to get passed that, but now I'm floating in the
queue.

TIA
David

PS. I know I must be missing something simple, but its
late, and I'm very tired.
