Hello.

You may set the verbosity level depending on how much info you need.  
VERBOSE is usually all one will need to figure out a problem.  If more info 
is needed to diagnose a problem, then one can up the verbosity, but it 
should be lowered once you find what you need.  The verbosity can be 
anything between 1 and 99.
Example of a possible entry in bp.conf:
VERBOSE=5

Note:  You'll also need to have your log directories created in 
/usr/openv/netbackup/logs before VERBOSE will help.  Verbose turns on 
logging but doesn't create the necessary log directories.
