could be the bpbkar client process.. add VERBOSE to
bp.conf and as root on the client 
touch /usr/openv/netbackup/bpbkar_path_tr
mkidr /usr/openv/netbackup/logs/bpbkar 

Check the /usr/openv/netbackup/logs/bpbkar directory..

The last file in the log is the culprit.
