[Veritas-bu] library recommendations?

I have three ADIC Scalar 1000's with AIT drives.   They're pretty darn fast but
I don't like the I/E station, I've got two complaints about it, the I/E station
carries 18 tapes but the slots are not removeable therefore the slots are still
loaded and unloaded to and from the turtles one tape at a time.   The other
problem is a bit more serious in that although netbackup happily injects all 18
tapes with one command, due to the way the ADIC checks to see if the I/E slot is
full, multiple tape ejection via the vmchange -e -sec 1 command doesn't work for
more than one tape hence even though the I/E can hold 18 tapes, I wind up
ejecting tapes one at a time unless I map out the drive first and issue specific
slot movement commands.

Hello everyone,

I am looking at purchasing a new tape library along the lines of the Adic
Scalar 1000 with SDLT.  I was just wondering
if anyone had any recommendations or warnings?
We are running Netbackup DataCenter in a Compaq SAN with several NT/200 and
Solaris Media Servers &
our data storage is expected to exceed 20 TB by the end of the year.
