  Maybe we are doing something different. (I know HP/UX behaves quite a bit
differently than Solaris.) But we have never been able to get an NT written
tape to read on our UX systems. We've messed with buffer sizes and numbers
of buffers, to no avail. Evidently, the NT NetBackup writes with a different
block size. I'm not too sure of the details. Even the Veritas engineers I
have spoken with say it can't be done.

  I would love to be proven wrong!!
