Hello,
we realized that all veritas initiated backups use the same retention
period (one month -> the Default-Policy). INC or CINC job-schedules
(configured with a retention period of 2 weeks) use one month also.
It seems that every rman-backup is regarded as a user-backup, not a
scheduled backup. Do i have to manually choose the schedule in the rman
script (using NB_ORA_SCHED)? Veritas should know that the new connection
is self initiated (imho)....
Any hints?
