When I acquired NBU, almost two years ago, I OEM'd it through Sun Microsystems. 
This means that I get my maintenance through them and they answer my support 
questions. The NBU package looks just like a real Veritas NBU package but I 
always have to wait until the patches are re-packaged by Sun before I can put 
them on. My question is this:

When my maintenance comes due later this year and I decide I would rather go 
straight through Veritas, could I? I guess I need to know if the product from 
Sun is exactly the same or if I'd have to do a complete re-install so I could 
start applying Veritas patches when they become available instead of waiting 
several weeks (or months) for it to be re-packaged.

Just a notion I'm toying with.
