c:\program files\veritas\netbackup\bin\admincmd\

"bpclinfo class_name -L | -l | -U" will get you info on a specific class in
three different formats.

or

bpcllist:
"bpcllist" will list all classes
"bpcllist class_name -L | -l | -U" will get you info on a specific class in
three different formats. This has more information than bpclinfo
"bpcllist -allclasses -L | -l | -U" will get you info on all classes in same
formats as above.

What are you working on?

I just finished something that will look at saved class configurations and
compare them to the current class configurations and report on changes. I
schedule this for once a day and it can tell me if another admin modified,
deleted or added a new class. If a class was modified, it will tell exactly
what changed (e.g. time on schedule, schedule added/deleted, class attributes,
client removed/added to class, etc.). I also have a Windows 2000 master, but
I have MKS toolkit installed, so I do all the scripting in the Korn shell.

Is there a script that anyone can send me to gather up class data
on a master server (NT2000, if it matters) and put it in an
easily parseable format?
(comma separated?)

Thanks,

James Bougor
