Okay,

first problem resolved, there was a routing problem with Solaris 8,
I fixed that and now things are working better ...

And the next problem arises:

If source/destination clients are unix clients, the NT netbackup client does
strange things with my destination path. Small snippet of the tar log:

03.05.01 18:30:16: [298]: INF - restore privileges enabled, previous = 0
03.05.01 18:30:16: [298]: INF - backup privileges enabled, previous = 0
03.05.01 18:30:16: [298]: INF - security privileges enabled, previous = 0
03.05.01 18:30:16: [298]: INF - create token privileges enabled, previous =
0
03.05.01 18:30:16: [298]: INF - take ownership privileges enabled, previous
= 0
03.05.01 18:30:16: [298]: INF - successfully wrote restore information to
named pipe
03.05.01 18:30:16: [307]: INF - success obtaining access token
03.05.01 18:30:16: [298]: INF - success obtaining access token: (56)
03.05.01 18:30:16: [298]: INF - user has restore privileges

Part with wrong path (right one would be /service/ and filename bla)

03.05.01 18:33:25: [298]: WRN - can't create file: service:\bla (WIN32 3:
Das System kann den angegebenen Pfad nicht finden. )
03.05.01 18:33:25: [298]: TAR - restore: 1
files
03.05.01 18:33:25: [298]: TAR - restore: file data: 260
bytes
03.05.01 18:33:25: [298]: TAR - restore: image data: 1536
bytes
03.05.01 18:33:25: [298]: TAR - restore: elapsed time: 188 secs

Any workarounds here ?!?

Regards

Axel Kunze
