Dennis,

I checked www.veritas.com support pages and though a supported platforms
matrix exists for NetBackup v3.2, a supported database matrix does not.

So I asked a few quick questions and here is what I found out for you:

Tru64 V4.0x has a VERITAS NB32 db ext for 8.0.3, 8.0.4, 8.0.5, 8.0.6, 8.1.5
and 8.1.6.

I've just been posed with the question of being able to do hot backups of an
Oracle 8 database on a Compaq TRU-64 UNIX platform and I was wondering if
this is possible. I've looked through the docs for the database extensions
(NBU 3.2) and don't find TRU-64 listed as a valid platform. Any advice????
