Boris,
You can add filer #2 into NetBackup using the same authentication steps you
used to setup filer #1.
Both filers will see the media changer once you have authenticated the robot
with each of the filers.
To assign drives to filers, you will need to setup two separate classes, one
dedicated to filer #1 + 1 drive and the second dedicated to filer #2 + 2
drives. To keep the media separate for each filer and associated drive, you
will need to create two separate volume pools, one for each filer and
associated drive.
Please let me know if you need further help.
Michael.
Cheers,
Grant
P.S. A description of these FC Tape SAN solutions for NetApp filers can be

Subject: [Veritas-bu] 2 Netapps + NetBackup 3.4 + NDMP + Brocade + ATL
P2000
Hello All,
We are trying to configure NetBackup 3.4 with NDMP agent for
2 Netapp filers connected to the P2000 ATL library through
the Brocade 2400 FC switch. We have one filer (filer1)
connected and working just fine. How do we configure
Netbackup for the second filer (filer2) ? How does the robot
need to be configured so it can serve both filers? We have 4
tape drives total in the library and would like to use 1
drive for Filer1 and 3 for Filer2. Both filers can see all
the drives.
The tpconfig -d command on the master (media) server:
Index DriveName DeviceName Type Multihost
Status

0 Drive0 /ndmp/nrst0a dlt

TLD(0) Definition DRIVE=1
1 Drive1 /ndmp/nrst1a dlt

2 Drive2 /ndmp/nrst2a dlt

TLD(0) Definition DRIVE=3
3 Drive3 /ndmp/nrst3a dlt

Currently defined robotics are:
TLD(0) robot host = filer1,
volume database host = noa
Thank you very much for any help.
Boris
