Just about the simplest thing to do with very little admin overhead would be
to schedule reg or regback on servers you desire to possess this
functionality and have netbackup backup your hives and/or keys on a regular
basis.

Subject: [Veritas-bu] NT Registry backups

I'm running Netbackup datacenter 3.4 with a Windows 2000 Master servers. I
would
like to be able to restore individual registry keys for NT4 machines.

Example: if necessary I would like to restores the
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServer\Shares key in the event
that
the shares on a File server get hosed up.

Is it possible to create a class to backup the NT registry separately and
restore it on a per key or hive basis.

Thanks in advance.
