I was the one who advised against the STK 2.x firmware. I tested it
against NetBackup 3.4 successfully, but with NetBackup 3.2 it didn't
recognize its DLT drives. It would 'see' them, but once you tried to use
a tape the drives would go down. This test really wasn't necessary
though. Why? It hasn't been tested by Veritas and put on the
compatibility lists for any version of NetBackup.
