Hello everybody !

I'm just doing a test of the NB Exchange Agent extension, and I have a little
problem in backing up single mailboxes.

I've setup the Agent according to a posting I found here in this list.

1. install the regular client and the exchange agent with the same
   (administrator) account.
2. logon as administrator and in the control panel->services->properties
   define the service to run with the administrator account (you write
   the username and password there)
3. stop and start the netbackup service.
4. create the mailbox for netbackup according to the instructions, and
   connect it to administrator. It should have administrator rights.
5. on the 'site' level choose properties->permissions and add user
   administrator with admin role.
6. in the registry of the exchange server go to 
   \\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\VERITAS\NetBackup\Config 
   and create a new key (right click on config -> new -> string type) 
   called EXCHANGE_MAILBOX and the string you put in its value is the
   name of the mailbox you created for netbackup.

The first test after installation is to check if the mailboxes are browsable in 
the NB Client 
backup window, nothing happens and the window remains empty ....
Second test is to start a backup with the a MS-EXCHANGE-CLASS ... ends with 
error 71

Any ideas ? The Veritas support here in germany hadn't any ideas concerning 
this problem ...
