Make sure on the master server, the reverse name lookup for the client's IP
address matches the client name definition in your class.  When the client
is multi homed, you're not always talking to the same interface (IP
address) on the client.  At the end of the backup, the RMAN client will
initiate a TCP connection back to the master server's bpdbm doing something
called get_bfs_date_range, and it might use a different IP address for it.
(The backup data TCP connection was initiated by the media server TO the
client).
