Not to be done under any circumstances.

Clients should not be of a higher rev than masters and media servers, also
media servers should be at the same rev as masters.  Clients may be of a
lower version of the master or media servers, but only one rev.

This is all that is supported.

Also the backups may work, but how about the restores?  Can you see the
system state, is it taking into account the active directory.  It may work
but we won't support it, sorry.

I installed the 3.4 client on the Windows 2000 clients and it works fine,

if the server is still a 3.2 server.

Does anyone know if Netbackup 3.2 supports Windows 2000 clients and have it
running? I know Netbackup 3.4 does support Windows 2000 but We have not
upgraded to 3.4 yet.
