I am a relativly new NetBackup user. I seem to find that occasionally, some 
jobs 'idle' idefinitly. That is, all the processes are running, the backup is 
still marked as 'active' but there is no data flowing at all. I end up 
killing these jobs, with partial backups. This is obviously not acceptable.

I have tried attaching a 'truss' (Solaris servers and clients) to see if 
anything is going on. The systems seem to be in a wait state (come up as 
sleeping)

Anyone have any advice as to what might be the reason for these mysterious 
idling processes?
