I haven't done it on 3.4 but I have on 3.4.  We also ran into problems with
the host name.  I believe what we did to fix it was to make sure on the NBU
server (and media server if you have one) that all the aliases for the
client are mapped to the backup IP address in a hosts file.

Has anyone installed MS SQL Extension on a 3.4 client
that has multiple interfaces (multi-homing)?  Required
interface has been employed on the backup interface
(Gbit).  When a restore is attempted a status 5 is
returned.  It seems that there is a problem resolving
the name.

I know there isn't a whole lot of information here, I'm
waiting to hear back from one of my consultants with
more...but I thought I'd ask around first.
