[Veritas-bu] Changing exp dates via command line
2000-12-20 18:06:00
We have found a small truckload of offsite tapes that have expiration dates
that are approaching or past. Most of these tapes aren't old at all, and
have very few mounts on them.
Anyone know how to set the expiration date to null, or never on a tape from
the command line?
I'm able to change the date, but I can't find out how to set it to "never"
or "---"
Here's what I'm doing: vmchange -exp 12/31/00 -m 000211
This works fine to change the date to 12/31/00. I could change it to a date
far, far out, but I'd rather set it to never like the others in it's pool.
I can do it from the gui, but I'd rather script this and do it in mass if
possible.
