Check the Admin guide. I think what you are looking for
is DO_NOT_RESET_FILE_ACCESS_TIME.
However, having said that, if you do as Rob suggested,
it shouldn't affect your other classes, the file
collection is unique to the class (unless this is a
Microsoft client). So if I do a full backup from the
class 'special', the inremental from my class 'servers'
will still run based on the the last time
class 'servers' ran.
