This might be something simple, but I've not had time to research this.
I'm trying to install the 3.4 client from the CD locally onto an NT 4 box.
It begins the install, and finishes near the end with the following
message:
ERROR - Unable to install file C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\msvcrt..dll
Initially, this was a new install and it failed. Then, I installed 3.2
client and it was fine, and then I tried to upgrade, and the same message
pops up.
I've been able to install the client, as an upgrade on other NT
Workstations w/out problem. THis box happens to have NT Server installed
(w/Service pack 6).
Anyone else run into this problem, and any recommendations for making this
work?
