I have received quite a few requests for this script so instead of mailing
it out individually, I would like to post it as a tar file in the
backupcentral archives.  How would I go about doing that?

Also, if you do decide to use the script, please leave in all header
info and revisions intact and please add comments for new changes.  That
way, we can keep track of who has changed/added what, and it also gives
credit to the people who have put work into any future changes.
