Hello All,

We currently back up the SQL databases on SQL Server ver 6.5 using Netbackup
3.2 with NT SQL client installed.
the server is running NT 4 Service pack 5. the netbackup host is a Sun E250
with L1000 4 drive DLT hardware.
all backups are reporting succesful with no errors.
on attempting to restore a database we get the following information in the
db_client logfile.
the request for restore does not seem to get as far as the Netbackup host to
service the request.

we also do standard NT 4 backups and the restores work ok.
can anyone help with this problem or do i need to provide further
information.
