 the NetBackup client knows how to backup the registry, you don't
need the OTM fot that. check NetBackup administration guide.

 it *could* be not enough. check network problem resolution
in the troubleshooting guide. is name resolution beetween those
two machines allright? use bpclntcmd and telnet commands to
check.

 is there some kind of network address translation on your firewall
software (NAT or PAT fe.), it could be perturb the client to
server connection too.

 ps: please please, think to people getting their mail by phone,
     don't quote the full mail you're replying to - save bandwith
