No you hit it on the nose.  It's a pretty straight forward as that.  When we
did an upgrade that was very similar we actually had the /usr/openv sitting
on an external array and we just replaced the hardware and reconfigured the
drives.

I really can't remember any gotchas or problems we had.

I was wondering if anyone out there has done this type of an upgrade.  We

like to take the existing installation of Netbackup on an E3000 and move it
to a
new E4500.   The new box would have the same name and IP address as the old.

would think that we would be able to bring over the /usr/openv tree, and
would
possibly have to reconfigure the tape drives because the hardware paths to
the
drives will change.

Anybody out there done something similar?  Any gotchas I'm missing?
