NetBackup NDMP agent is here for that. there is a pdf document
on the Veritas web site describing the way it works:

you should check the OnTap version on your NetApp filer,
some version are not supported and maybe you'll have to
upgrade.

NetBackup agent for Lotus Notes. supported plateforms are
Ms Windows NT & Sun Solaris according to my memory.

not sure i understand. you can backup a Unix machine
to a Ms Windows NT NetBackup server without problems,
to tape or disk. NetBackup is a client/server product.
you can even restore data from a Unix client to a
Ms Windows machine - but without platform specific stuff,
ie from Windows to Unix the registry or NTFS ACLs.
