To make Solaris7 appear, just go into the /usr/openv/netbackup/clients
directory and do a ln -s /usr/openv/netbackup/clients/Solaris2.6 ./Solaris7

Subject: [Veritas-bu] Java scripts for Solaris7 Clients
Several weeks ago we installed Netbackup 3.2 for UNIX and downloaded the
client software to several Solaris7 clients. We have been using the Java
interfaces jbpSA to do restores on these clients. Recently, however, we
noticed that new Solaris7 clients, when installed are missing the jbpSA and
jnbSA files and are unable to run the Java interfaces. If I look at the
/usr/openv/netbackup/client/Solaris/Solaris7/install_client script, I notice
that there is no mention of Solaris7, only 2.5 and 2.6 in the portion of the
script that installs Java. If I modify this script to add Solaris7, things
work great. The only changes we have made since the original installation
is the addition of patches J0820443 and F0820307 to fix a tape problem. I
am assuming that these patches caused the problem. Anyone else run into
this?
