Not having as much experience with the NT OS as with
Unix, I have a question regarding 'security'.
Is there a way to have a script (perl, qbasic, etc.)
run as an Administrator or equiv in NT (whatever is
needed for NetBackup)? Like in UNIX where I can give a
script higher permissions then that of the user running
it.
I'm trying to accomplish something that doesn't seem to
be documented anywhere. Allow certain levels of
security to certain admins across the enterprise
through the use of scripts and command line. For
instance, I want the admin to be able to perform
certain media manager functions or device manager
functions, but not all of them.
Any ideas out there?
TIA
